“And He said to them ‘Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest awhile.'” (Mark 6:31).
These were the words of Jesus to His disciples, for they were extremely busy in ministering to the people who followed them that they didn’t have time to eat.
It is imortant to take time off to rest. And my encouragement to you today is this: Take time off from your busy schedule to rest awhile. You will find that after resting, you will have renewed energy to continue your work, whether it is a job assignment, a home project, or studying for an exam. Jesus found it necessary for Him and his disciples to rest awhile. Shouldn’t you?
